Halloween Cocktails: 21 Creepy Holiday Drinks

More than anything else, Halloween is about kids having fun dressing up in costumes and trick-or-treating. But where does that leave the adults? 1. Witch's Brew

Ingredients

1½ ounce Coconut Tequila

2 ounces Pineapple-Orange Juice

½ ounce Blue Curacao

Marichino Cherry

Fresh Ice

Directions:

In a martini glass place cherry. In a shaker place ice and ingredients, shake and pour, my pretties.

2. Vampire's Weakness

Ingredients:

1 1/4 oz Light Rum

4 oz Merlot

2 1/2 oz Blood Orange soda

Ice and shaker

Directions:

Combine the ingredients and some ice in the shaker. Shake a few times and pour in the wine glass. Easy and delish!!

3. The Devil's Skin

Ingredients:

1.5 – 2 oz Irish Whiskey

4 oz Spiced Red Wine

Strip of Lemon Peel

Directions:

Pre-warm a mug with hat water and discard. Add whiskey and lemon. Fill will the hot spiced wine. Garnish with the citrus Fires of Hell (optional).

For the Spiced Wine:

1 bottle (750ml) Red Wine (Shiraz)

3 Tbsp Brown Sugar

0.5 tsp Whole Allspice

0.5 tsp Whole Cubeb or Black Pepper

0.5 Stick Cinnamon

1 Bay Leaf

Directions:

In a sauce pan, bring wine to a simmer. Stir in sugar, then add a mulling/tea bag with the spices. Reduce heat to low and let simmer 30 mins

Remove the bag of spices. Serve hot.

4. Holland Razor Blade

Ingredients

2 oz Genever

0.75 oz Simple syrup

0.75 oz Lemon Juice

Pinch of Cayenne Pepper

Directions

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass. Shake with ice and strain into a coupe. Sprinkle cayenne over the top.

5. Vampire Kiss

Ingredients

3 oz. Chilled Pinnacle “Whipped” Vodka or Vanilla Vodka

Strawberry Sundae syrup

Plastic vampire teeth as a garnish

Directions

Rim a martini glass with the strawberry syrup. Drizzle some on the inside of the glass so it drips. Pour vodka into a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into prepared martini glass. Add teeth on the side of the glass as a garnish.

Tips:

For best results, prepare your glasses ahead of time and freeze them with the sugar and syrup on them. Remove from freezer just before serving.
